Update: Order Statements

We have updated the view/print order statement functionality. The update will enable you to insert page breaks and also view order comments on the printable statements. Page breaks will limit one order per page.

Individual order statements can be accessed using the manage orders page or the ‘Orders by Individual’ report. Both require you to select the check box of the orders to view or print. On the manage orders page, select ‘Print Selected’ from the action select box. On the ‘Orders by Individual’ report, simply click the view/print orders button.

The order statement page now contains a gray box at the top. Within the box you can select your preferences. Click the ‘Update’ button for the changes to take effect. The gray box will not be printed.

Create Purchase Order Changes

We have updated how the auto create purchase order option adds certificates to purchase orders. This change only affects the ‘certificates to order’ option. The ‘certificates to order’ previously created purchase orders using only the following criteria: current inventory, minimum inventory, and unfilled orders. It was brought to our attention that certificates on back order were being ordered again. As a result, we have changed the logic.

The ‘certificates to order’ option will now also check for certificates on back ordered purchase orders. If you have a certificate or certificates from a prior purchase order that has not been added to inventory (ordered or on back order), that certificate will not be reordered.

Here is an example of how certificates are added using the ‘certificates to order’ option.

Example

Certificate: Store XYZ
Inventory: $400
Backordered: + $200
All Unfilled Orders: - $500
Projected Inventory: $100
Minimum Inventory: $300
Amount to Order: $200

The create order report (located on the right side of the purchase order form) now will display the back ordered amount for each certificate added. This report is now also available for the ‘All Unfilled Orders’ option.

Server Upgrade Complete

All accounts are now running on our new and improved server environment. You should notice a more stable and quicker Manna Manager experience.

Notice: Server Upgrade

We are happy to announce we will be upgrading Manna Manager to a new server environment. As Manna Manager continues to grow we want to ensure a stable future. Our new server environment will provide a faster platform for our current users as well as make it possible to handle increased traffic from future users.

We have been busy the last few weeks prepping for the migration. We have scheduled all accounts to be migrated late Monday, November 23rd and during business hours on Tuesday, November 24th.  During the migration, accounts will be temporarily unavailable for a short period of time. We chose this time as it is a holiday week and the traffic within Manna Manager will be lower then usual.

There will be no action required on your part. All of your data will be transferred. If you have any questions or concerns please email support.

Information and updates will be posted here during the migration process.

Server Upgrade Announcement

Update: This upgrade was completed on schedule by our hosting provider. Downtime was limited to 15 minutes. All Manna Manager functionality is working. The only exception is the support request form. Please email your request to our support staff. The support request form will be functional after we transfer Manna Manager accounts to a new dedicated server. Read More.

The hosting company that Manna Manager uses for our online software is updating the operating system on our servers. This will take place sometime on Monday, November 9th. The timing is unfortunately out of our control. We are told that the downtime will be less then 15 minutes.

Manna Manager uses customized versions of certain server software to run our online application. As a result we were informed that some of these customization we made may not be compatible with the server upgrade that is being made. We will be standing by to quickly resolve any issues that might arise.

Update: Reports

The reports that were temporarily disabled are now available again.

The new report section has been available for the last few weeks. Please continue to familiarize yourself with the enhancements. We will discontinue the old report section in the upcoming weeks.

The new report section has been redesigned to make generating and comparing reports easier.  We hope you enjoy this update to Manna Manager.

Alert: Reports Update

The User Summary and Orders Detailed reports are currently unavailable. We will have those back up within a few days. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

New Add-on: Inventory History

We have added a new add-on to Manna Manager. The logging of inventory history is now available. To enable this add-on go to Administration>Settings>Add-ons.

The Inventory History add-on logs the current inventory every night when the add-on is enabled. You can then view past inventory data by viewing the inventory history report located in the Reports section under the inventory list.

The inventory history log is available for at least 1 year.  Remember inventory is logged only when the add-on is enabled, therefore no past history is available.

New Report Section

The report section layout has been changed to make viewing and analyzing your data easier. All of the reports you are use to are still available along with some new reports. Additional reports will be added in the near future.

We are also continually working on updating the speed at which the reports are generated especially for high use organizations with large amounts of data. We have reduced the load time for many reports however there are still a few we are working on. Please provide any feedback you have.

Manna Manager Desktop Lite

Manna Manager Desktop Lite is our first application released. It is an application that runs on your computer and monitors your Manna Manager account. Whenever a new orders is received, the application alerts you with a message and links directing you to your Manna Manager administration account.

To download this application, visit the ‘Addons’ page located inside your administration area. (Administration>Settings>Addons)

This application is free until November 1st after which the price will be $10.
