You will not see these changes, but Scrip Manager was written from the ground up to be compatible in all modern desktop, tablet and mobile browsers. Our logging, email and usability were all greatly improved. We even squashed a few bugs that were found in our prior version.

Ready For Future

Since version 4 was rewritten with the future in mind, we are ready to start adding many of the features you have requested. We are always adding new features, some big and some small to Scrip Manager and are now in a position to make many more features a possibility.

V4 Update #7: Release Schedule

Scrip Manager is happy to announce the release schedule for version 4 of our software. We have worked very hard to bring this update to you. Below you will find the timeline for its release. If you have any questions please contact us.

Version 4 Release Schedule

November: Preview and testing. Support documents updated.

December 1, 2011: Scrip Manager 4 released and available for new accounts.
December: Support documents updated. Current support area will be switched over to version 4 documentation.

January 3, 2012: Scrip Manager 4 available for existing account migration. We will provide details on scheduling your account upgrade closer to this date. We understand many of you might not want to transition to a new software during your busy school ordering months. As a result, we will allow you up to 8 months to schedule the upgrade. We will support version 3 until the end of summer 2012 at which time all accounts must be transitioned to version 4.

V4 Update #5: User Area Preview

Scrip Manager version 4 is almost ready for you and your families! As we put the finishing touches on the software we would like to give you a look at the new user area. The user area has been completely redesigned to provide a modern, efficient and functional interface for your families to place their scrip orders.

Throughout the user area, we have tried to display and highlight the most important information for your users, as well as provide easy to follow flow for placing orders. A nice addition is the ability for users to select their favorite certificates and be able quickly view and add them to their order. We have kept all of the existing pages and terminology to provide a smooth transition for your users.

V4 Update #4: Admin Beta Demo

We are happy to announce Scrip Manager version 4 is in beta testing. During our testing period we are making a demo account available for your evaluation and feedback.

Scrip Manager v4 has been a work in progress the last 9 months. Our goal is to provide a faster, cleaner, more user friendly software for our current and future users. Version 4 will be released with all of the features currently found within Scrip Manager. We have designed the navigation to mirror the current version as well. This will help provide a seamless transition for our current users.

V4 Update #2: Admin Area

Scrip Manager 4.0 is progressing and we are 90% complete with the administration area. We are focusing on using the most up to date technology and as a result we are seeing an extremely stable and much more responsive software.

Some highlights of the new software will be the ability to mark an order as paid without posting a payment, enhanced error logs, additional discount credit percentage splits per user, post credits to a users account other then those earned through certificate sales (great for other fundraising or as bonus credits), and additional user and order summaries. Although this is not a comprehensive list of changes, we chose to highlight these as they have been frequent requests over the last few years.

Scrip Manager will feature an updated design however we are keeping similar navigation options, pages and functionality. We know you are comfortable and confident using the current version of Scrip Manager and transitioning to a new software often comes with a learning curve. To make your transition as seamless as possible we will make a demo of version 4 available in the upcoming weeks. We hope you take a few minutes to login and see what to expect with the new software. Additionally we will be creating many tutorials highlighting what is new and what hasn’t changed but might have moved to a different page.

V4 Update #1: Inventory Discounts

As we work on developing version 4 of Scrip Manager we are committed to keeping you informed on our progress and the new features you can expect. We will also update you with a release date when we have the time line available. In our first update we will discuss an update to the view inventory page.

Scrip Manager’s sophisticated inventory tracking enables orders to be filled using inventory with the same discount percentages as were received from your scrip vendor at time of purchase. This greatly increases accounting accuracy for your program. A common issue has been discount percentages changing or holiday bonus discounts. When bonus discounts are offered they can be added to your inventory at the new discount giving the users the added percentage bonus. However when bonuses end, administrators often need to change the discount split in inventory to ensure all users receive the same discount percentage. We are happy to say that in version 4 of Scrip Manager you will have the ability to change the discount split of your inventory.

We are excited for version 4 of Scrip Manager and will have additional updates in the weeks ahead.

Print Payment Information

Thanks to a request from one of our users, we have updated Manna Manager to enable you to include the payment information on the printable order statements. The payment information includes all payments posted for the order. The payments as well as the previously available comments will appear at the bottom, below the certificates ordered.

Printable Statement Options

The printable statement options appear at the top of the page. All options initially default to ‘No’. To include the payment information (or any of the other options), select ‘Yes’ and then ‘Update’.

We welcome any suggestions or feature ideas to help improve Manna Manager, but please remember we can not guarantee we will be able to include your requests. Please contact support with your ideas and suggestions.

New: Require profile verification

We have added a feature to Manna Manager to help ensure your user’s profile information is correct and up-to-date. This feature, if enabled, will require the user to review and verify his/her account information, at selected intervals, before being given access to the Manna Manager user area.

Administrators may enable this feature by going to users tab on the Site Settings page (Administration>Settings>Site Settings). There you will find the ‘Review/Confirmation Information’ setting. You may select the desired interval length between profile verifications.

The user must verify profile information before accessing the user area.

Update: Inventory History Report

The inventory history report has been updated to include the inventory cost. You may select to include this column in your report by selecting the check box when viewing the ‘Inventory History Report’. The cost is the value of the inventory minus the discount. The inventory cost will be available for reports starting Monday, November 1st. Past reports will show the inventory cost as $0.

The inventory history report is available as a free add-on to your Manna Manager account. To enable this add-on, go to Administration>Settings>Add-Ons and enable ‘Inventory History Logging’. To view the report, go to Reports>Reports and select Inventory History under the Inventory section. Inventory History is logged nightly and displayed in the report. Please advise support if you need the inventory history saved for more then one year.
